The Answer Man, is a 2009 romantic comedy film directed by John Hindman. It stars Jeff Daniels as Arlen Faber, a reclusive author of a landmark spiritual book, who finds his life beginning to intertwine with those around him, including a single mother (Lauren Graham) and a recovering alcoholic (Lou Taylor Pucci). As he grapples with his fame and relationships, Arlen learns that knowing all the answers isn't quite the same as understanding life. The movie is rated R for language and some sexual material.
