Mafia II for the Sony PS3 is an action-adventure game set in the 1940s-50s era of Empire Bay, a fictional city inspired by New York City. Developed by 2K Czech, it's the second game in the Mafia series. Players step into the shoes of Vito Scaletta, a war veteran who becomes entangled in the underworld as he tries to pay off his father's debts and provide a better life for his family. As Vito rises through the ranks of organized crime, players will engage in intense gunfights, high-speed chases, and strategic confrontations with other mobsters, all while exploring an open-world environment rich with period-authentic vehicles, music, and fashion.
