Shadow of the Ninja is an action-adventure platformer game for Nintendo NES. It was released by Natsume in 1989, casting players in the roles of ninjas Hayate and Kaede who embark on a mission to overthrow the tyrannical Emperor Garuda. The gameplay consists of running, jumping, and slashing your way through multiple levels filled with enemy samurais and deadly traps.
