In 'Angel On My Shoulder' (1946), a tough gangster named Eddie Kagle is murdered by his partner and finds himself in Hell, where he makes a deal with the Devil (Claude Rains) to escape and get revenge. However, things don't go as planned when he's sent back to Earth with a new identity.
