Earth Defense, also known as Earth Defend or The Earth Defend, is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up game for the Sega Genesis console. Released in the early 1990s, it belongs to the classic arcade-style shooter genre, where players pilot a spacecraft through various levels, each filled with swarms of alien enemies and formidable bosses. Utilizing power-ups and quick reflexes, players must navigate through intense airborne battles, strategically dodging and countering waves of attacks to defend Earth from extraterrestrial threats and save humanity from invasion.
