Of Gods and Men is a 2010 French drama film directed by Xavier Beauvois. The film recounts the story of a group of Trappist monks living in the monastery of Tibhirine in Algeria, during the 1990s Algerian Civil War. Facing threats from terrorists and the government, the monks must decide whether to stay or leave. The film explores themes of faith, commitment, and sacrifice, and it received the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. Rated PG-13.
