Revolution X - Genesis

Revolution X is an on-rails shooter game released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. Developed by Midway, the game features the rock band Aerosmith and centers on a dystopian future where an authoritarian regime, the New Order Nation (NON), has outlawed all forms of entertainment. Players fight against NON's oppressive forces using a mounted gun with an endless supply of compact discs as the primary ammunition. Throughout the game, players aim to rescue the band members and join forces with Aerosmith to bring down NON using music as a weapon to free the masses.
