What A Girl Wants - DVD

In this 2003 family comedy, directed by Dennie Gordon, American teenager Daphne (Amanda Bynes) travels to England to meet her estranged father (Colin Firth), who is a wealthy British politician. As she tries to fit into a world much different from her own, she finds herself dealing with the social challenges of trying to be someone she's not. The film's fun exploration of self-discovery and family ties make it a warmhearted watch, rated PG with a runtime of 105 minutes.
